He's Law Office Anti-Telemarketing Policy

Beginning January 22, 2025, our firm implements strict internal rules against telemarketing activities to preserve time and resources.  

For purposes of this policy, "telemarketing" includes any unsolicited telephone call, text message, email, or other forms of digital message transmitted to our firm for the purpose of soliciting the sale of any product or service. 

All Member(s), officer(s), employee(s), and contractor(s) of our firm are required to (1) refrain from answering or replying to any telemarketing transmitter, (2) delete all telemarketing text messages and emails, and (3) block all telemarketing transmitters' phone numbers and email addresses while using our firm's work phone and/or work email.

If any phone number or email address blocked pursuant to this policy is later found to be used by a relevant party in a legal matter handled by our firm, the Managing Attorney may authorize such phone number or email address to be temporarily unblocked until the conclusion of such legal matter.

Initiating any telemarketing on our firm will result in the transmitter being indefinitely prohibited from entering into any transaction of value with our firm or using any of our services. However, our firm may still use free products and services provided by such persons and entities.

The following parties are exempted from this policy: 

1. our firm's former, current, returning, and prospective clients,
2. co-counsels, opposing counsels / pro se parties, witnesses, and other parties relevant to any legal matter handled by our firm, 
3. our firm's case referrers, mentors, and mentees,
4. our firm's business partners and prospective business partners,
5. government entities, tribunals, legal aid organizations, and bar associations, and
6. any person or entity exempted from this policy by the Managing Attorney.

This policy may be modified pursuant to our firm's internal rulemaking procedures.
